VoiceVicky
Setup guide

Set up VoiceVicky in 2 minutes

Save your VoiceVicky link as a one-tap reply on your phone. When a call comes in and you can’t answer, tap your reply — your caller gets the link instantly. Works on iPhone and Android.

iPhone setup

Replace one of the three built-in Respond with Text messages with your VoiceVicky link. You only do this once.

  1. 1
    Open SettingsAppsPhone
On iOS 17 and earlier: open SettingsPhone directly.
  2. 2
    Tap Respond with Text.
  3. 3
Replace one of the three messages with your VoiceVicky reply.
Sorry I can’t talk right now — chat or talk with my assistant Vicky: voicevicky.com/yourname
  4. 4
When a call comes in and you can't answer:
Swipe up the message icon → tap your saved VoiceVicky reply. iOS sends it as an iMessage or SMS in one tap.

Pro tip: keep the message short — iOS truncates long replies in the call-screen list.

Android setup

Pixel / stock Android

  1. 1. Open the Phone app.
  2. 2. Tap the menu (top-right) → SettingsQuick responses.
  3. 3. Edit one of the responses to your VoiceVicky link.

Samsung (One UI)

  1. 1. Open the Phone app.
  2. 2. Menu → SettingsQuick decline messages.
  3. 3. Add your VoiceVicky link as a new message.
When a call comes in: swipe up Send message on the incoming-call screen, then pick your VoiceVicky reply.

What your caller sees

They tap your link, pick Chat or Talk, and Vicky takes it from there. You’ll get a summary email a few seconds after they hang up.

FAQ

Is the reply automatic?
No — both iPhone and Android need one tap to send. We keep it that way so you stay in control of who gets the link and who doesn't.
Will it work on every carrier?
Yes. The reply is a normal text message (iMessage or SMS) sent from your phone, so it works on any carrier and reaches any phone.
Does the caller need an app?
No. They just tap the link and your VoiceVicky profile opens in their browser — Chat or Talk, no install.
Can I have a different link per phone?
Yes. Each VoiceVicky profile (voicevicky.com/yourname) is its own link, so you can use different ones for personal, work, or shared phones.
